Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

African American Art - SALOMAO The Man
The name SALOMAO has origins in Hebrew and Portuguese. It means MAN OF PEACE. My Salomao represents everything male to me ... Everything strong, solid, earthy and ageless ... priceless. King of every inch of earth he steps upon - Sensitive, kind, sensual, tolerant, but firm in his beliefs and principles.
When I gaze into his eyes, I see the depths of my own burning soul reflected in them ... I hear the rhythm of his heartbeat, the cadence of his breath, and I see the wisdom he possess to cultivate his spirituality through his song.
Salomao ... A unique, one-of-a-kind portrait, painted by me using colored markers and pencils on heavy 9 x 12 acrylic paper. He was just one of those pieces I could not stop until he was completed. Typical guy; he kept me up all night.
Born in Jamaica, NY, Stacey Torres is a Folk/Fauvist artist and writer living in the Midwest. Inspired by her Caribbean heritage, her primary focus are female portraits and lush garden landscapes, painted with an abundance of brilliant color using watercolor, oil pastels, acrylics and other mix media. A self-taught artist, Ms. Torres’ love of art began in early childhood. In the summer of 2014, she began to paint after a 45-year hiatus when her mother was dying from Alzheimer’s. This became her therapy, and being a prolific artist, her journey began. Ms. Torres’ art has been exhibited throughout the United States and is curated in private collections globally.
